One of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences for my artwork was painting my first mural, Sesame Street. I used all original sketches hand drawn myself. These were based on Sesame Street books from my childhood. An overhead transparency was created from the sketch for easy application to the wall with use of a projector. I really enjoyed seeing some of my favorite characters that I grew up with become a part of childhood memories for someone else to enjoy. I would like to give a world of thanks to those who gave me this opportunity. You know who you are. Take a look at the images below or click to view the portfolio of the Sesame Street Mural.
When my sister and her family moved into their first home some personal touches were made. One of these touches was the addition of a Forest Scene mural for my niece. I thank my family for this experience and for my niece for visiting with the animals. Take a look at the images below or click to view the Forest Scene mural portfolio.
I had not had the opportunity to paint for a while and decided to paint a couple of things in my bathroom to brighten things up. I chose a bird, butterfly and flower theme. It's just enough to add a touch of color and reminds me of the warm weather on those cold winter days. Take a look at the images below or click to view the Birds/Butterflies/Flowers Mural portfolio.
